By Sean Conroy - Posted on 26 July 2008

A 32 Year Old Woman from Virginia walked out of the Hospital after Being Pronounced Brain Dead. Marianne Cook fainted while getting ready for a bath, and was discovered by a maintenance person 20 hours later.

After being taken to the Hospital she was pronounced Brain Dead. After getting over 10 second opinion's they found a hospital that was willing to help her. They found a tumor in her heart that had broken apart and caused clots in her arteries and brain.

The doctors worked on her in the operating room and removed clots all over her body and brain, some as large as pencils. Marianne was paralyzed for over a week, but then began to slowly recover. After three months she was able to walk out of the hospital after only losing her sight in one eye and part of a toe.
