New Test to Avoid Side Effect of Statin Drugs
A new test for heart patients can be used to check for those who are prone to side effects with Statin Drugs. Researchers have identified a "Genetic Makeup" which makes patients as much as 17 times more likely to have serious side effects from Statin Drugs.
The test for this Genetic Variation would be very simple, and could help 1 in 10,000 patients.
