Nasa Discovers water on Mars
The Mars Rover which NASA has been piloting around on the Martian Surface since 2002 has just recently found the presence of water under the surface. This is a very significant discovery, because up until this point, scientists have only been able to speculate about the presence of water on the red planet.
The presence of water is a major indicator for a planets ability to sustain life. Scientists are now attempting to analyze the frozen water they found to see if it contains any organic compounds. Depending on what is found in the Ice, NASA scientists may be able to determine whether or not Mars has sustained life in the past.
